At Rosewood Medical Practice, we are committed to delivering high-quality healthcare while protecting the health of our planet. The NHS has made a pledge to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions by 2040, in alignment with NHS goals and the UK government’s climate targets. The practice has signed up to the RCGP Green Impact Programme in order to improve sustainability, adapt to climate chjanges and reduce our carbon footprint.
To fulfil this commitment, we will:

Reduce energy consumption by improving energy efficiency in our buildings and operations.

Minimise waste and promote sustainable procurement, including reducing single-use plastics and reccyle as much as possible
- Encourage low-carbon travel for staff and patients by supporting active and public transport options.
- Promote digital healthcare solutions where appropriate to reduce travel emissions.
- Engage staff, patients, and our community in sustainable practices and climate-conscious healthcare.
